dualband

Operates two frequencies

Dualband describes wireless devices that operate on two different radio frequency bands, typically 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz for Wi-Fi routers and adapters.

A dualband router can broadcast on both frequencies simultaneously, allowing devices to connect on whichever band offers better performance.

I upgraded to a dualband router to reduce interference.

Also spelled dual-band.
