divinities

Objects of worship

Divinities are gods or divine beings—entities possessing supernatural power and often worshipped: the divinities of ancient Greece, Hindu divinities.

The word can also refer to the quality of being divine: the divinities attributed to certain rulers.

In American usage, divinity (singular) is also a soft, fluffy candy made from sugar, egg whites, and nuts.
