direct report
Someone you supervise
A direct report is an employee who reports to a specific manager—the person one level above them in organizational hierarchy.
The term emphasizes the reporting relationship from the subordinate's perspective: She has six direct reports.
Managers often use the term when discussing their team: I'm meeting with my direct reports this afternoon.
