dipole-dipole
Molecular partial charges
Dipole-dipole describes the attraction or repulsion between molecules that have permanent positive and negative ends.
In chemistry, dipole-dipole forces are one type of intermolecular attraction—weaker than chemical bonds but strong enough to affect boiling points and solubility: Water's high boiling point results partly from dipole-dipole interactions between its polar molecules.
