credit line
Bank's lending cap
A credit line is the maximum amount a lender allows a borrower to draw upon: The bank extended her a $50,000 credit line.
Unlike a traditional loan, you borrow only what you need and pay interest only on what you use.
Credit line also means a line of text acknowledging a source or contributor: The photo credit line identified the photographer.
