Claims extraterrestrial encounter
A contactee is a person who claims to have been contacted by extraterrestrial beings.
The term emerged in UFO subculture during the 1950s and typically implies ongoing communication rather than a single encounter: The contactee said the aliens had chosen him to deliver a message of peace.
Unlike abductees, contactees usually describe their experiences as voluntary and benevolent.
