Custody time arrangement
Visitation is a formal or official visit, often implying inspection or examination: a visitation from the bishop, a site visitation by the accreditation committee.
In family law, visitation refers to the right of a noncustodial parent to spend time with their child: He gets visitation every other weekend.
The word can also mean a supernatural appearance or divine intervention: a visitation from beyond the grave.
An unwelcome occurrence may be called a visitation: a visitation of locusts.
