concert grand
Orchestra's largest keyboard
A concert grand is the largest size of grand piano, typically nine feet long, used for professional performances in concert halls.
The extended string length and soundboard produce the fullest tone and greatest dynamic range: She performed the concerto on a Steinway concert grand.
Smaller sizes include baby grand and parlor grand.
