cavalrywoman
Female mounted fighter
A cavalrywoman is a female soldier who serves in a cavalry unit—historically mounted troops on horseback, now often mechanized or armored forces.
The term parallels cavalryman but remains relatively uncommon, as cavalry has historically been male-dominated.
She was among the first cavalrywomen in the regiment.
