Keyboard's yelling mode
Capslock, also written caps lock or Caps Lock, is a keyboard key that, when activated, causes all subsequently typed letters to appear in uppercase.
Unlike the shift key, which must be held down, capslock toggles on and off with a single press.
It's notorious for being hit accidentally, resulting in SENTENCES THAT APPEAR TO BE SHOUTING.
In online communication, typing in all caps is widely interpreted as aggressive or emphatic, leading to the joke that someone left their capslock on.
