burette
Graduated liquid dispenser
A burette is a graduated glass tube with a stopcock at the bottom, used in chemistry to dispense precise, measured amounts of liquid.
It's essential equipment for titrations, where one solution is added drop by drop to another until a reaction completes: She recorded the burette reading after each addition.
Also spelled buret.
