brain hemispheres
Left and right
Brain hemispheres are the two halves of the cerebrum—the large, wrinkled upper portion of the brain.
The left hemisphere generally controls the right side of the body and handles language processing; the right hemisphere controls the left side and processes spatial information.
Popular culture oversimplifies this into "left-brained" (logical) versus "right-brained" (creative), though neuroscience shows both hemispheres work together in most tasks.
