blends

Merges into one

Blends are mixtures of different elements combined into a unified whole.

A coffee blend combines beans from different origins; a fabric blend mixes fibers like cotton and polyester.

In linguistics, a blend is a word formed by fusing parts of two others: smog from smoke and fog, brunch from breakfast and lunch.

The verb blend means to mix smoothly: Blend the ingredients until smooth.

Colors blend when they transition gradually into each other.

To blend in is to become inconspicuous: She tried to blend in with the crowd.
