ballot harvesting
Collecting others' votes
Ballot harvesting is the practice of collecting completed mail-in or absentee ballots from voters and delivering them to election officials.
The term is used disparagingly by those who view the practice as vulnerable to fraud or coercion: Democrats accused Republicans of fearmongering about ballot harvesting.
Supporters call it ballot collection and argue it helps voters who have difficulty returning ballots themselves.
