harvesters
Those collecting crops
Harvesters are people or machines that gather crops when they're ready.
The term applies to farmworkers who pick fruits and vegetables by hand as well as to the large agricultural machines—combines, threshers, cotton pickers—that mechanize the process.
By extension, harvester can describe anyone or anything that collects or gathers: data harvesters scrape information from websites, organ harvesters remove tissues for transplant.
