armstand
Upside-down arm support
An armstand is a gymnastic position where the body is held upright and balanced on the hands, arms straight, with legs extended overhead.
The term appears in diving and gymnastics: She held a perfect armstand before dropping into the water.
Also called a handstand, though armstand emphasizes the arm support.
