apposable

Can touch fingertips

Apposable means capable of being placed opposite or against something else, used almost exclusively to describe thumbs and big toes that can touch the other digits on the same hand or foot.

This gripping ability distinguishes primates from most other mammals: Humans have apposable thumbs.

Also spelled opposable, which is more common.
