all clear
Signal of safety
All clear is a signal that danger has passed and normal activity can resume.
Originally from military and civil defense contexts—the siren announcing the end of an air raid: The all clear sounded after the bombing stopped.
Now used broadly for any situation where a threat or obstacle is gone: The doctor gave her the all clear to return to work.
