thumbs up
Silent "go ahead"
Thumbs up is a gesture of approval or encouragement, made by extending the thumb upward with the fist closed.
It signals agreement, success, or that everything is fine: Give me a thumbs up when you're ready.
The phrase works as both noun and modifier: a thumbs-up from the boss, a thumbs-up emoji.
To give something the thumbs up is to approve it.
