aerobat

Loop-the-loop performer

An aerobat is a pilot who performs aerobatics—the rolls, loops, spins, and other acrobatic maneuvers of stunt flying.

The term also applies to aircraft designed for such maneuvers: The Pitts Special is a classic aerobat.

Less commonly, aerobat describes any aerial acrobat, including trapeze artists.
