V8s

Eight-cylinder motor configuration

V8s are engines with eight cylinders arranged in a V configuration, with two banks of four cylinders sharing a common crankshaft.

The design delivers smooth power and has long been associated with American muscle cars and trucks: That old Camaro has a V8 under the hood.

V8 also names a popular vegetable juice blend, so V8s can refer to cans or bottles of that drink.
