Trans Am
Screaming chicken car
Trans Am is short for Trans-American, appearing most famously as the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, a muscle car produced from 1969 to 2002.
The name originally referenced the Trans-American Championship racing series.
The car became a cultural icon through films like *Smokey and the Bandit*: He restored a '77 Trans Am.
Trans Am also refers to the racing series itself.
