Twinkies
Golden sponge treats
Twinkies is a brand of American snack cakes—oblong golden sponge cakes with cream filling, sold individually wrapped.
The name has become nearly generic for this type of treat.
In slang, Twinkie describes an Asian person perceived as culturally white—yellow on the outside, white on the inside: She called him a Twinkie for not speaking Korean.
The term is usually disparaging.
