Cool Whip
Fluffy dessert topping
Cool Whip is a brand of sweetened whipped topping sold frozen in tubs.
Lighter and more stable than real whipped cream, it became a staple of American potlucks and holiday desserts from the 1960s onward.
The name sometimes appears generically for any similar product: Just get some Cool Whip for the pie.
