Shrek the Third
Green monarch comedy
Shrek the Third is the 2007 animated film, third in the Shrek franchise, in which the ogre Shrek must find an heir to the throne of Far Far Away.
The title plays on traditional royal numbering (Henry the Third, Edward the Third), applied absurdly to a swamp creature.
Generally considered the weakest entry in the series: The first two were great, but Shrek the Third was a disappointment.
