Cars
Radiator Springs story
Cars are motor vehicles designed to carry passengers on roads—the dominant form of personal transportation in developed countries.
The word is short for motorcar, distinguishing engine-powered vehicles from earlier horse-drawn carriages.
A car typically seats four to five people: We took two cars to the restaurant.
In American English, car also means a railroad car or a compartment of an elevator.
