Paul Cezanne

Paul Cézanne (1839–1906) was a French painter whose work bridged Impressionism and the revolutionary movements that followed.

His treatment of form through color and geometric simplification—particularly in landscapes, still lifes, and portraits—profoundly influenced Picasso, Matisse, and the development of Cubism.

Often called the father of modern art.
