Mongol Empire
Khan's vast dominion
The Mongol Empire was the largest contiguous land empire in history, spanning from Korea to Eastern Europe at its peak in the 13th and 14th centuries.
Founded by Genghis Khan, it connected East and West through trade routes and facilitated cultural exchange across Eurasia.
The empire eventually fragmented into successor states including the Yuan dynasty in China and the Golden Horde in Russia.
