service pack
Bundled bug fixes
A service pack is a collection of software updates, bug fixes, and security patches bundled into a single downloadable package.
The term became familiar through Microsoft Windows, where service packs provided cumulative improvements between major releases: We need to install Service Pack 2 before running this program.
Service packs have largely been replaced by continuous automatic updates.
