Masons
Fraternal order members
Masons are workers who build with stone, brick, or concrete blocks.
The craft requires skill in cutting, shaping, and laying materials with mortar.
A stonemason works specifically with stone; a brickmason or bricklayer with bricks.
Masonry is ancient and respected work: The masons finished the foundation last week. (Capitalized Masons refers to Freemasons.)
