Manhattan Bridge

Brooklyn-Chinatown crossing structure

The Manhattan Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the East River in New York City, connecting Lower Manhattan to Brooklyn.

Completed in 1909, it carries subway lines, vehicle traffic, and pedestrians.

It's often overshadowed by its more famous neighbor, the Brooklyn Bridge, but remains a major transit artery: The D train crosses the Manhattan Bridge.
