Israeli flag
Blue-striped national ensign
The Israeli flag is the national flag of Israel, featuring a white field with two horizontal blue stripes and a blue Star of David (Magen David) in the center.
The design derives from the traditional Jewish prayer shawl (tallit).
The flag often appears in discussions of Middle Eastern politics and Jewish identity: Protesters waved Israeli flags outside the embassy.
