Hydra
Labor-worthy water monster
Hydra is the nine-headed serpent slain by Hercules in Greek mythology, one of his twelve labors.
The constellation Hydra, the largest in the sky, depicts this creature.
Hydra is also a Greek island in the Aegean Sea.
In the Marvel universe, Hydra is a fictional terrorist organization whose motto references the regenerating monster: Cut off one head, two more shall take its place. (Lowercase hydra refers to any multi-headed problem or the freshwater organism.)
