D.H. Lawrence
D.H.
Lawrence was an English novelist, poet, and essayist of the early twentieth century, known for frankly sexual novels that scandalized his era. *Lady Chatterley's Lover* and *Sons and Lovers* remain widely read.
Lawrence explored themes of industrialization, instinct, and erotic life with an intensity that made him both celebrated and banned.
