Evangelists

Four Gospel writers

Evangelists are, in the original sense, the authors of the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

More broadly, an evangelist is anyone who spreads religious faith, particularly Christianity, often through preaching or missionary work.

The word extends to passionate advocates for any cause: a tech evangelist, an evangelist for clean energy.

In business, evangelists promote products or ideas with missionary zeal.
