Elizabeth Arden

Elizabeth Arden was the professional name of Florence Nightingale Graham (1878–1966), a Canadian-American businesswoman who built one of the world's most successful cosmetics empires.

She pioneered the concept of the upscale beauty salon and introduced scientific approaches to skincare marketing.

The brand she founded continues today, known for fragrances and skincare products.

She picked up some Elizabeth Arden at the department store counter.
