Donatello

Florentine bronze master

Donatello is the nickname of Donato di Niccolò di Betto Bardi, a Florentine sculptor of the early Renaissance whose bronze David and other works revolutionized European sculpture.

The name also belongs to one of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles—the one who wears purple and favors a bo staff.
