Delmarva

Three-state coastal peninsula

Delmarva is the peninsula on the eastern U.S. seaboard shared by Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia—a portmanteau of the three state names.

The Chesapeake Bay separates it from the mainland.

We spent the summer on Delmarva.

The region is known for its beaches, farmland, and the Chesapeake Bay's seafood industry.
