DNA synthesis
Building genetic strands
DNA synthesis is the process by which cells copy their genetic material, creating new strands of DNA from existing templates.
It occurs naturally during cell division and can be performed artificially in laboratories through techniques like PCR (polymerase chain reaction).
The drug works by blocking DNA synthesis in cancer cells.
