Cutty Sark

Greenwich's preserved clipper

Cutty Sark is a famous British clipper ship, built in 1869 for the tea trade and now preserved as a museum ship in Greenwich, London.

The name comes from Scots dialect for "short shirt" or "short chemise," after the witch in Robert Burns's poem "Tam o' Shanter." Cutty Sark is also a blended Scotch whisky brand, its label featuring the ship.
