neat
Orderly and clean
The adjective neat is nearly always appreciative and is used to characterize objects, achievements, or experiences that are impressive and enjoyable: It was neat to see how the driverless car worked.
Neat is also used to describe things that are orderly in a pleasing way (neat handwriting, neat pile of papers).
A less frequent meaning is the adverb neat, which conveys the notion of something undiluted, as with ice: She drinks her Scotch neat.
