Christian right
Faithful worship freedom
The Christian right is a politically conservative movement, primarily in the United States, that seeks to influence government and culture according to traditional Christian values.
The movement emerged prominently in the late twentieth century, advocating positions against abortion and same-sex marriage while supporting school prayer and religious expression in public life.
The Christian right has been a powerful force in Republican politics since the 1980s.
