born-again
Freshly embracing faith
Born-again describes someone who has undergone a spiritual conversion, especially to evangelical Christianity, and experiences their faith as a profound renewal: a born-again Christian.
The term extends to any fervent convert to a cause or belief: a born-again vegetarian, a born-again fitness enthusiast.
The underlying idea is dying to an old self and being reborn into a new one.
