Anne Boleyn
Anne Boleyn was the second wife of Henry VIII of England and mother of Elizabeth I.
Her marriage to Henry precipitated England's break with the Catholic Church when the Pope refused to annul his first marriage.
She was Queen of England from 1533 until 1536, when Henry had her executed on charges of adultery and treason—charges widely considered fabricated.
Her daughter became one of England's most celebrated monarchs.
