Wolf Hall
Cromwell's fictional chronicle
Wolf Hall is a 2009 historical novel by Hilary Mantel, the first in a trilogy following Thomas Cromwell's rise to power in the court of Henry VIII.
The title refers to the seat of the Seymour family, whose daughter Jane would become Henry's third wife.
The novel won the Booker Prize and was adapted into a BBC television series.
I'm rereading Wolf Hall before starting the sequel.
