ActionScript

Animate interactive content

ActionScript is a programming language developed by Adobe for use in Flash applications and animations.

It enabled interactive content, games, and rich media on websites during the Flash era.

ActionScript evolved through three major versions, with ActionScript 3.0 being the most sophisticated.

The language became largely obsolete when Flash was discontinued in 2020, though it remains in legacy systems and Adobe Animate.
