workspaces

Where tasks happen

Workspaces are dedicated areas for getting work done.

The term covers physical spaces—an office, a studio, a corner of a room with a desk—and digital environments where applications and files are organized: I keep my design projects in a separate workspace.

In software, a workspace often refers to a saved arrangement of windows, tools, or project files that can be reopened as a unit.
