westmost
Extreme sunset direction
Westmost means farthest to the west, the superlative form of west.
It describes the most westerly point or position among a group: the westmost island in the chain, the westmost corner of the property.
Westernmost is more common in contemporary usage, but westmost appears in older or more literary contexts.
