watt-hours

Power times duration

A watt-hour is a unit of energy equal to one watt of power sustained for one hour.

It measures total energy consumed or produced over time, unlike watts alone, which measure instantaneous power.

Kilowatt-hours (kWh) are the standard unit on electricity bills: Our house uses about 900 kilowatt-hours per month.
