vin santo
Italian dried-grape wine
Vin santo is an Italian dessert wine, traditionally from Tuscany, made from dried grapes and aged in small barrels.
The wine ranges from dry to very sweet, with a golden to amber color and flavors of honey, nuts, and dried fruit.
It's classically served with biscotti for dipping: We ended the meal with vin santo and cantucci.
